Selected Paintings
Painting, to me, is like opening a window to the world. It lets me perceive, experience, and absorb the world around me. It’s a lifelong quest that nourishes my soul, captivates my imagination, and provokes deep thought.
My primary medium is oil, a lengthy and deliberate process that clashes with the fast-paced nature of our contemporary world. My paintings are creations of sedimentation and slow drying, compelling us to pause and construct layer by layer, demanding resilience and patience.
When I “complete” and abandon them, I sense that I’ve closed a cycle, each canvas containing transformed and metamorphosed paintings. I perceive this process as an expansive map, where every sketch and canvas serves as a potential starting point or destination for another journey.
